Mahoney Ice Skating Sun Jan 4th (Sunday)

Hey Cubs!

We'll meet at the Mahoney activity center for ice skating at 2pm (ask at the entry booth for directions).  We'll start with a safety discussion and then skate. Scouts can earn their ice skating belt loop by attending.

Please check your email before leaving for Mahoney in case the weather changes.

Remember:
1. The ice rink is a covered, but outside rink. Please dress accordingly. The rink is adjacent to the indoor activity center (giant play land!) though, so warming up is easy.

2. If driving conditions or the condition of the ice rink isn't satisfactory then we will cancel via email. Check your email before you leave for Mahoney!

3. Of course parents should skate with their scout, if necessary.

4. Here is the google map to Mahoney, if you are not familiar:

Skating is open 11-6

Costs:
Park Entry – Daily $4 (you can purchase an annual pass for your vehicle for a bit more)
Entrance to the Activity center AND Skating - $2
Skate Rental - $3

Hope to see you there!

Veteran's Day Pack Meeting, *Tuesday* 11/11 7pm at *Gym*

In honor of Veterans Day, our Pack will celebrate this important holiday during our Pack meeting (Tuesday November 11th, 7pm in the St.Columbkille School Gym).  Please note the unique day of the meeting (Tuesday) and the location change (gym).

We invite all active, reserve, and retired service members to join us during this ceremony in service uniform.  This will help our scouts to appreciate just how essential the U. S. military is to our Pack, our community, and to our country.  Thank you for your service!

Presenting the flags at the opening of our meeting will be a Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corp (NJROTC) color guard from Papillion La Vista South High School.  Their award-winning drill team will also present a portion of their exhibition routine.  Don't miss it!

The Popcorn Sale has concluded and awards will be handed out at this Pack Meeting.  As always, the whole family is invited to join us and see what our scouts have been up to lately.  All scouts should wear Class A uniforms - and look sharp!.
See you there!

Join us for the April Pack Meeting: Scout Olympics!

The whole family is invited to join us for the 1st Annual Scout Olympics on Monday, April 14th at 6:30 pm at the St. Columbkille School Gym (the big parking lot by the playground).  We are starting early so that we have time to recognize the Tigers, Bears, and Webelos scouts as they all advance and earn their badges!  After the award presentation we will begin a fun night of Olympic events to test our brave cub scouts.  We will end the night by 8:30 pm (our normal time).

See you there, Olympians!

TIME UPDATED: Scouting For Food

When: Saturday – 5 April
