Join us for the November Pack Meeting

The whole family is invited to the Pack meeting on Tuesday, November 18th at 7pm in the Social Level. Come see what your scout has been up to for the last month.

Other items of interest:

  • Popcorn awards will be presented to scouts that participated in the Popcorn fundraiser
  • The Wolf, Webelos I, and Webelos II dens will all get to "pie" their selected leader, since every scout in those dens sold at least $100 of popcorn!
  • Awards and belt loops will be presented to scouts
  • Patches will be handed out to scouts that attended the Vala's Pumpkin Patch event
  • Coloring for the younger siblings
  • And a game and treat too
The Wolves of Den 7 need your help!
To fulfill requirements for the Citizenship belt loop, they are sponsoring a Pack food drive for the needy in our area. Please bring one or more of the items listed below to the pack meeting. All scouts who participate in the drive will be entered in a prize drawing! Den 7 will be there to collect your donations. Any questions can be answered by Den Leader Stacy Denne (email stacy.denne@cox.net). Thank you for your support!
  • Soups
  • Canned pasta
  • Ramen noodles
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.)
See you next Tuesday!

A Fun Night at Vala's

Thanks to everyone who attended the Pack 359 event at Vala's last night. I think everyone had a great time on a cool, autumn night. It was nice to see so many scouts and families: 25 of our 35 scouts were able to join us!
Vala's patches will be handed out at the November pack meeting to scouts who attended.

Thanks again!

Update on Vala's Info

I received word from Vala's that you can arrive earlier than 5 p.m. on Friday, October 17th if you wish. The park gets quite crowded as the night goes on, so if you get there earlier it shouldn't be so bad. Thanks...

Pack 359 Trip to Vala's Pumpkin Patch!

One of the best nights of the year! Join us on Friday, October 17th for a fun night at the pumpkin patch. Arrive no earlier than 5 p.m. and enter via the Group Admissions entry. Scouts and leaders (including Den Chiefs) are free admission (paid by the Pack) - just give your name to the employee. All other family members pay regular price, $12 per person (2 and under are free).

And dinner is provided by the Pack: hot dogs, pop, chips, condiments, and roasted marshmallows too. (Trust us, this saves you a lot of money!) We will have a campfire for our group - admissions should tell you which one. Dinner is at 6:30 pm. Otherwise, you are free to roam all night long! (Vala's is open until 10 p.m.)

IMPORTANT! We need all scout families to R.S.V.P. to Rick Denne no later than October 10th so that we can estimate how much food we require. Please include the number of adults and the number of children attending. Thank you!
